ThisElder Scrolls V: Skyrimmod overhauls the Whispering Door questline with new content, greater stakes, another ending and even some new voicelines.

TheSkyrimmod we’re gonna talk about today doesn’t introduce new areas to explore, it simply expands one of the game’s creepiest quests to make it more impactful for the player, and it does a lovely job of doing so.

It’s quite a dark quest in the base game, but this mod makes it even darker as it extends the length and provides more options for the player to choose from.
If you don’t trust the lady behind the door, you can now speak to the Jarl and dispose of the blade that’ll free her, but you can also betray the Jarl to keep the sword for yourself.

The mod also changes the way NPCs treat you depending on the path you choose, giving the quest a more “world changing” feel as the creator puts it.
It’s a mod worth checking out, especially since the Whispering Door quest is actually quite easy to miss if you don’t explore Dragonsreach in Whiterun properly.
