The 2012 third-person shooterSpec Ops: The Linehas been delisted from the Steam store, and no one knows why.
Players interested in buying the game can’t find it anywhere onSteam, and its publisher 2K Games hasn’t made any statements announcing its departure or if it’ll come back.

Now before anyone starts panicking, you can still buy the game on otherPCstores, as well as theXboxstore so it isn’t gone for good. That being said, its unexpected disappearance from Steam certainly raises some questions, and at the time of writing we don’t have many answers.

For those who haven’t played,Spec Ops: The Linewas a sort of reboot for the Spec Ops series, and became critically-acclaimed for its action-packed gameplay, great graphics for its time and more importantly, a compelling narrative.
Whether or not this has any relevance to its delisting from the Steam store is unknown, but it would be convenient timing given the many conflicts currently happening across the world. Though if this were the case, surely it’d be inaccessible from other store pages as well.
With any luck, this is simply a mistake or bug on Steam’s end of things, and hopefullySpec Ops: The Lineis relisted sometime this week.
