In fact, the actor’s fourth solo outing as the webslinger is set to begin filming imminently.

In the meantime though, theMCUis set to officially welcome in a brand new Spidey in the upcomingYour Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.
This is an animated series that’s set to chart Peter Parker’s superhero origin story, something that wasn’t explored in 2017’sSpider-Man: Homecoming.
As much asYour Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Manis a prequel though, so too is it its own standalone project.
We are in The Multiverse Saga after all, so I’m sure it won’t surprise you when I say that this project is set in an alternate timeline.

It all sounds very promising on paper, but Marvel fans surprisingly are yet to be won over.

I wish I could say I found plenty of positive sentiment to drown out the negativity, but it was far and few between.
