Spider-Man is easily one of the most popular heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so it’s no real surprise that Marvel would want to capitalise on that.
Tom Holland excels in bringing the character to life and despite not having yet been announced, I’m sure a fourth Holland-ledSpider-Manentry will surface further down the line.
Rumours are already swirling that the film could potentially followAvengers: Doomsday.

In the meantime, a different kind of Spider-Man project is coming to theMCU.
Following in the footsteps ofWhat If…?comesYour Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, an animated series previously known asSpider-Man: Freshman Year.
Set to debut during the MCU’s current fifth phase, the series will premiere on 2 November 2024 with a second season already reportedly in the works.
ICYMI:Captain America: Brave New Worldis set to release next year. Take a look at the film in action below.

You may have gathered then that this will serve as a prequel, charting Peter’s origin story which isn’t actually ever explored in the Holland-led films.
It won’t be Holland in the lead role though. Hudson Thames will be bringing the character to life.
This won’t be Thames’ first outing as Peter Parker as he portrayed the role in bothWhat If…?and the Disney Cruise Line exclusive short filmAvengers: Quantum Encounterwhich, no, I didn’t realise existed until this moment either.
He’s done a great job so far and fans are thrilled to hear he’s continuing with the role.

“He did a good job, I’m cool with this,”wroteReddit user Pacperson0.
“He actually does a decent Tom Holland impression. Plus Tom is kind of big at this point. I doubt he has the time to record for this show,”addedAdventurous-Stuff-82.
I’m definitely looking forward to this one. Mark your calendars, folks.
