EA Sports fans are demanding the return of the snowboarding game series SSX, starting withSSX Tricky.
While the majority ofEAfans are content with annual releases ofFifa, Madden and NHL, some gamers are holding out hope for the return of some long-forgottenEA Sportsseries, namely SSX.
Check out the intro forSSX Trickybelow!
SSX was a snowboarding series that last saw an entry all the way back in 2012. Players would ride down the snow-covered slopes on several different boards, with the aim of completing objectives, beating time trials, or simply trying to rack up points.

They were very successful games and even had collaborations withNintendo, most notably Mario and some of his friends being featured as playable characters in the GameCube version ofSSX on Tour.
The post went on to say: “I remember fondly playing the original SSX Tricky on PS2 - one of my favorite all-time games - and I’d be incredibly stoked if a PS5 version were made.”
Fans were in agreement too, some of which have their own sport/extreme sport titles in mind for a revival, whether it be a series continuation or through remakes.

“I agree, gimme SSX Tricky, Ready 2 Rumble Boxing and NBA/NFL Street”
“God I loved that game. I have no interest in real snowboarding, and that game still ruled.”
“Damn, I wanna go play SSX 3 again and do the big mountain ride from the top of peak 3 to the bottom of peak 1. I got it on sale on Xbox years ago and I go back to it pretty often”
The EA Sports titles were truly in a league of their own, so it’d be nice to see a few of them come back for another go, especially since sports titles like Fifa and Madden still do fairly well on modern consoles.
