Star Wars announces Darth Maul’s return in new series

One of the most popular, yet briefly stinted Star Wars villains in history, Darth Maul is making a comeback but it’s probably not how you imagined it to be.

Darth Maul made his debut inStar Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menacein 1999, a movie in the iconic series that isn’t viewed as favourably as other entries, but it did at least have some plus points such as the aforementioned Darth Maul, but also Ewan McGregor asObi-Wan Kenobiand Liam Neeson asQui-Gon Jinn.

Despite meeting what we thought was a gruesome end inThe Phantom Menace, somehow,Darth Maul survived, but his story of redemption or lack thereof is sadder than we may think it to be. Oh, and we also knowDarth Maul’s real nameand that’s quite underwhelming too.
