TheStar Wars Battlefront Classic Collectionis much better than it was at launch, but I don’t think anyone’s playing it to find out.
I’ve been pretty vocal about my opinion on theStar Wars Battlefront Classic Collection, because I, like many, was over the moon when it was first announced, only to be brutally yanked back down to Earth come launch day.
Check out the awesome initial trailer for the collection below.

At least, it was, as it’s believed to have all been fixed now thanks to a recent patch that improves the connection problems and the overall gameplay.
This is especially true for users onPlayStation5, who should now have less trouble joining multiplayer servers, hopefully.
It’s reportedly a great quality-of-life improvement and one that couldn’t have come sooner, meaning the game might actually be playable now on PlayStation,Xbox,PCandNintendoplatforms.
Unfortunately, It’s probably come too late to mean anything for the actual game, as taking a look at theconcurrent playersonSteamshows less than 100 players active at the time of writing.

Of course, this could be different on PlayStation and Xbox, but I doubt it, as the fan backlash felt just too immense at launch.
That being said,Star Wars Battlefront 2(2017) was just as much of a mess at launch, but after enough post-launch support it’s in much better shape and still has an active playerbase.
Hopefully, Aspyr can turn things around and get fans back on board before the ship sails away for good.
