Adding to that list of problems, somehow, the collection requires an extraordinary 70GB of hard drive space to install.
For context, bothStar Wars BattlefrontandStar Wars Battlefront 2are unchanged in the collection, neither remade or remastered, simply ported to modern platforms with new online multiplayer access.
One player was blown away, asking, “What on earth makes this game 70GB? The newerBattlefront 2is like 90GB and there, one hero model probably has more polygons than all the units and heroes in the OG combined.”

In fact, a player who bought the game on day one said they “played it for less than an hour”, and “refunded in like 10 mins”.
It’s worth noting an update for the game on PlayStation 5 has dropped the install size down a bit to around 30GB, but still, it begs the question as to what in the game is blowing up our hard drives.
TheStar Wars Battlefront Classic Collectionis available now for Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC platforms.
