Arguably, it’s the nature of the beast; some will like the creative choice, others will not.

One such Sith Lord unveiling that has left fans amused, perplexed, or just plain annoyed comes fromBioWare’sKnights of the Old Republic.
Posted on the Star Wars subreddit, user ZyklonCraw-X spoke of their “surprise” at LucasArts allowing BioWare to handle the first Sith Lord’s storyline the way it did.

In the game you meet Ajunta Pall, the individual who started the Sith Order.
Given everything that’s come to pass since the Sith started to spread their dark influence through the galaxy, it seems like such a throwaway comment, and not the type of reveal fans expected.
Yet, for some, such a narrative decision doesn’t seem that unreasonable.

A user who’s since deleted their account said, “You’re Ajunta Paul, a powerful warrior, decisive ruler, demigod to the Sith people, and your comrade stabs you in the back.
“In the dark you realise the true and final cruelty of the Sith […] Under that context I feel like it’s a no brainer they’d let BioWare do something so narratively rich.”
As far as One-Following-3115 is concerned though, this 360 narrative decision isn’t shocking at all.
“Why is this a surprise? LucasArts and LucasBooks’ lore was inconsistent as hell and laughable,” they argued.

Star Wars lore isn’t always the most reliable, so in that respect, this fan has a point.
Regardless of which side of the debate you favour, it’s fair to say that this Sith reveal is divisive.
