Where can you get it? Only onXbox, unfortunately. Apologies in advance to all my PlayStation and Nintendo buddies (not gonna apologise to the Steam folks, because you lot get a new free game every three minutes).

How do you get it? That’s easy, you’ve got two options.

Firstly, you can be an EA Play subscriber. If you are, just saunter over to the game through the Xbox storefront and hit claim. Boom, enjoy your free game.

The second option is somewhat similiar, in that you need to be anXbox Game Pass Ultimatesubscriber.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate comes with an EA Play subscription, so in a sense this is just the first option again except… better.

Now here comes the best bit. Even though you need an EA Play subscription to claimStar Wars Battlefront II: Celebration Edition, you don’t actually need to retain said subscription to access the game forever.

Even if your EA Play or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription runs out, the game is still yours forever. Very unlike EA to be so charitable but hey, I guess it is Christmas.
