The character exists in the extended Legends universe, but Dave Filoni is no stranger to making Legends characters canonical. Thrawn once existed only in the Legends universe and look at him now. We don’t know the identity ofAhsoka’s mysterious Inquisitor and now Starkiller actor Sam Witwer has added fuel to the fire.

We’ve known that Witwer’s name is in the credits for quite some time, but we don’t know anything else about his involvement. The actor provided ‘additional voices’ forJedi: Survivorso it could be a similar situation, making his involvement insignificant in terms of what that means for Starkiller. The actor touched on his inclusion though ina new interview, saying, “I can’t really talk about stuff like that […] I was about to say I didn’t work onAhsokabut I did. I don’t think I can say anything guys but I’m proud of Dave [Filoni].”

Hm, it would be weird to ‘forget’ you worked onAhsokaif Witwer did do something like bringing Starkiller to life. We’ll have to wait and watch what unfolds.
