After it was first announced back in 2021,Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republichas been on quite the rocky path with rumours of cancellations and delays. Now after a period of radio silence, fans have received a shocking update.

Nonetheless, it is seemingly back on after today saw Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier announce thatKnights of the Old Republicis still being worked on. “Can’t say whether theKOTORremake will ever actually come out, but yes, two people from Saber Interactive tell me they’re still on it, despite recent rumours that nobody is working on the game,” hewroteon Twitter.

With theKnights of the Old Republictrailerbeing removedfrom the internet in September of this year andlater re-addedafter issues with copyrighted music, it seems that everything that could go wrong with this project is going wrong. So much so, that it has takenuntil this monthfor publisher Embracer to finally acknowledge the game.
