It seems developers are finally listening to a large portion of the playing audience. For years now, we’ve had countless games that are so stuffed with content they often feel bloated rather than expansive. These games often outstay their welcome with underwhelming busy work.
Only a small handful of games have managed to pull off huge worlds full of quests that never get old includingElden Ring,Red Dead Redemption 2andThe Witcher 3. Hopefully we’ll be able to addStar Wars Outlawsto that list as Ubisoft has teased the length of the upcoming game recently and what we’re hearing has us excited.

Star Wars Outlawsis an upcoming game fromUbisoftand the first newStar Warsgame we’ve had in some time. Set to be a an open-world action adventure where we’ll play as an outlaw called Kay Vess,Outlawswill be an original story in the vast universe. Speaking at last year’s San Diego Comic Con, creative directorJulian Gerighty commentedon the game’s length saying, “Our objective is to really get people into a very dense, rich adventure, open world adventure that they can explore at their own rhythm," Gerighty said. “So it is absolutely not a 200 or 300 hour epic unfinishable RPG. This is a very focused action-adventure RPG that will take people on a ride and is very manageable.”
