Star Wars Outlaws' reputation system will completely alter how the story plays out

WithStar Wars Outlawsset to launch sometime this year, fans are gearing up for an epic tale told across the galaxy and recent news reveals that the reputation system could completely affect how the story plays out.

Star WarsOutlawsis an upcoming open-world action-adventure game which, as you probably guessed, takes place in the Star Warsuniverse. Taking place between the events ofThe Empire Strikes BackandReturn of the Jedi, Outlawswill tell the story of outlaw Kay Vess as she explores every corner of the galaxy.

With its release (hopefully) soon approaching, players are eager to learn more about the game and luckily, we recently learned some more aboutOutlaw’sreputation system which seems to be reminiscent of the one featured inRed Dead Redemption 2.

UbisoftMassive creative director Julian Gerighty recently revealed that reputation will be one way for the player to deviate from the story’s fixed narrative.

As you can tell, the reputation you garner can drastically change the story despite the game’s narrative reportedly having just one ending. This will stopOutlawsfrom becoming too predictable for players whilst also giving them access to different quests based on their standing in society. Much likeGrand Theft Autoand Red Dead Redemption,breaking the law will make Kay face the law.

Although there are still a lot of things unknown aboutStar Wars Outlaws,it is still shaping up to be an epic open-world adventure when it launches sometime later this year.
