
We’re in the midst of a Star Wars drought, albeit a temporary one.
The Acolytepremiered earlier this year and while I personally thought it was easily the most exciting newStar Warsproperty in years, it has unfortunately been cancelled - a fact I still struggle to wrap my head around.
Let’s hope that the upcomingSkeleton Crewfares better.

Due to premiere on 3 December, the series centres around four children who make a mysterious discovery on their home planet, sending them on a big adventure.
The series comes fromSpider-Man: Homecoming’s Jon Watts and Christopher Ford, so I think it’s fair to say that we should expect a fun, coming-of-age tale.

The story follows bounty hunter Bazine Netal who is hired to obtain a case, but it’s never revealed what object is concealed inside.
The going theory is that perhaps this was Vader’s helmet as Netal has known connections to the First Order.
This is key as it’s established that Vader’s helmet was last seen on a funeral pyre on Endor in theStar Wars: The Force Awakens Visual Dictionary, adding weight to this theory.

Eventually, Netal gets her hands on the case completing her mission.
Star Wars may be making us jump through hoops to get answers, but at least it appears that we do finally have some.
