As someone who’s put an ungodly amount of hours intoStardew Valley, I’ve found very few farming sims have ever quite been able to scratch the itch in the same way.
Let’s face it:Stardew Valleyreally is one of a kind. And while there are plenty of otherreally great cosy farming games, it’s rare that one comes along that really gets me excited anymore.

I’m already sold in a big way.Starsand Islandis an absolute treat for the eyes, and if it can balance that visual splendour with genuine depth and well-written characters, we could well be looking at one of 2025’s most exciting games. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on this one.
