If you’re aStardew Valleyplayer on PC and you’ve always wanted to know more about Shane then boy oh boy, do I have the perfect mod for you.
If you’re familiar with Shane - you can find him working at the Joja Mart - then you’ll know that he’s an incredibly complex character.

We know that Shane struggles with depression but this is something that’s not hugely expanded upon in the base game.
In Miihau’s mod, the newly-added heart events do just this.
We follow along as Shane mourns a friend, faces some tough confrontations with those he loves, and generally confronts his demons all in the name of healing.
Stardew Valleyis a must-play for fans of the cosy genre. Take a look at the game in action below.
If you already have the popular ‘Stardew Valley Expanded’ mod installed, ‘Shane Event Expansion’ is compatible with this so don’t worry.

You don’t need to choose one or the other.
Even if you don’t have a Joja Mart in your town, Miihau has ensured that the mod features a workaround and if you happen to be married to Shane in your playthrough, you can also still enjoy the mod expansion.
This mod does not change Shane’s in-game behaviour and if the mod leaves you wanting more, its creator also has similar options for Haley, Abigail and Penny.
There’s seemingly more in the pipeline, as Miihau writes, “I have my eye on Leah and Harvey”.
