Starfield 12 month delay massively praised by fans

Once upon a time, we would’ve already hadStarfieldin our hands right now. Bethesda’s upcoming space epic was due to release last year but was, as is often the case these days, delayed. It’s now finally set to release on 6 September.

Take a look atStarfield’s latest trailer below.

Reddit userThinWhiteDuke00posted two screenshots of the same in-game location. The first was showcased duringStarfield’s 2022 gameplay reveal, while the latter was in this summer’sStarfieldDirect. It’s clear to see the major improvements made. The environment is far more detailed. The textures have been improved, as has the shading. There are far more NPCs populating the scene too, making it feel much more realistic and lived in.

Userscuttlemetawrote, “The colour changes that they’ve made have really made it appear more immersive whilst also adding to the general sense of the environment. Like the beautiful planets look incredible and now the planets which are barren and hostile appear to give you a sense of danger,” whileFlow390added, “As much as I hated the delay at the time, I admit that it was 100% worth it. Looks much better than before.”

Anotherusercommented, “Truly. I was lukewarm onStarfieldin 2022, but it’s shot to the top of my hype list in 2023.” Good work Bethesda.
