Starfield 60fps update officially confirmed for Xbox gamers

Despite most of us looking the other way now, Bethesda is determined to makeStarfieldthe game it was marketed to be.

Recent news revealed that thatone of the biggest updatesBethesda’s sci-fi adventure has had thus far is coming, and with it comes a highly requested feature.

It’s cause for celebration indeed – assuming there’s anyone still left at theStarfieldparty.

Rolled into this big update is the news thatXboxplayers will finally be released from the hell that is 30fps.

We’ve all seen fellow Xbox fans complain about how unbearable this is, so the devs have listened and will enable the game to run at 60fps.

This will be one of several new display options designed to further enhanceStarfield’s gameplay. The only problem is, fans are miffed this wasn’t included to begin with.

“Should have been there from the start,” posted one individual in response to the update announcement. “Stop releasing unfinished products!”

If you’re feeling that way about this so-called “divisive” game – Todd Howard’s words, not ours – there’s a silver lining in all of this. Not forStarfield, but for Fallout.

Apparently, there will be anew game beforeFallout 5, and yes, it will be part of the Fallout universe.

Small wins and all that jazz.

Starfieldfeels like a game that’ll never claw its way back to the top; it suffered such a harsh and quick fall from grace. But who knows – stranger things have happened.

For those interested in the beefy update on the way, it’ll be yours come 15 May.
