Starfield dev offers game-changing advice you need to know before playing

We’re all itching to dive intoStarfield, but it’s kind of a daunting prospect too. After all, Bethesda has created an entire galaxy filled with hundreds of hours worth of content. Where exactly do we even begin to start?

Starfieldhasover 1,000 planets to explore. We should all join together in a moment of silence for the guides writers I am imagining are having a crisis over that fact right about now. Only 10% of these planets are confirmed to be home to signs of meaningful life, but the rest will still have important resources we’ll need to acquire. Bethesda recently opened up about thevarious branching pathsthe game will offer, including the factions you can join. You candecorate your own apartment, play as a space samurai… the list goes on. With early access opening in just over a week, it’s almost time for us to dive in but oneStarfielddev has shared an important game-changing piece of advice you need to know before you get started.

Take a look atStarfield’s brand new cinematic trailer. It’ll give you chills.

In an Xboxlivestream, Hines said, “My one piece of advice for folks is: do not ignore your Activities. It feels like throwaway stuff that the game is giving you, but there is some amazing stuff in there.” He added that these Activities may not “feel like a real quest” but they could lead to “amazing places” and “amazing stories”.

It won’t come as a surprise if you’re a longtime Bethesda fan. A simple conversation with an NPC can prove to kickstart quite the journey. Hines finished, “We encourage you to play this like any [Bethesda] game: Do what you want, go where you want, test the game. Be the kind of person you wanna be in this world and see what happens.” As if I couldn’t get anymore excited to dive in.
