Starfield developer roasts outlets asking for PS5 review codes

Who’s enjoyingStarfield? That’s right. Bethesda’s epic space RPG is finally out in the world. Early access kicked off last week for those with the Premium or Constellation editions. Waiting to join in on the fun? You don’t have much longer to wait as access opens up to all this coming Wednesday 6 September.

At the time of writing,Starfieldhas an Xbox Metacritic score of 87 and a PC score of 88. Inour review, we scoredStarfielda perfect 10, writing, “Every now and then, a new game comes along that changes our perception of what the industry is capable of.Starfieldis that game. This is beyond what we’ve come to know an open-world to be.Bethesdahas created a universe that, despite its vast scale, maintains interest and an impressive attention to detail throughout.” It’s no surprise so many people are keen to join in - and according to one dev, some reviewers have been requestingPS5code … Who’s gonna tell them?

The only other place you’re going to be able to play it is on PC, so it seems like a few hopeful reviewers didn’t do their research ahead of asking for code.
