In a year that has brought us so many fantastic video games, it says it all that even the likes ofStarfieldstruggled somewhat to stand out amongst the crowd after years of waiting for its release.
In fact, this year has been so stacked thatBethesda’ssci-fi RPGfailed to gain a Game of the Year nominationat The Game Awards next month. That being said, there are plenty of other video game award events, other than Geoff Keighley’s show such as the BAFTAs, so it’s not the be-all and end-all.

That being said,Starfieldis still a fantastic game that feels very much likeThe Elder ScrollsandFalloutin space. So if that sounds like your cup of tea,Starfieldis worth checking out, if you haven’t already. Yet despite the fun to be had, yesterday, we reported that a Reddit user changed one simple setting thatmadeStarfieldfeel like a different game. “Bethesda is responding to negativeStarfieldreviewson Steam. Absolutely bizarre if you ask me and despite media attention this hasn’t stopped, the last response is from today,”tweetedJuiceHead33.
“Specifically, this is coming from Bethesda Customer Support, the same team to ask bannedFallout 76players to write an essay to get unbanned (until media picked it up and they stopped),” they also claimed in a follow-up tweet.

Another Steam user dared to callStarfieldboring and Bethesda_FalcoYamaoka replied: “If you feel that things are getting boring, there is so much more to do than just the main mission! There are many side missions where you can learn more about the people and story ofStarfield. You can take time to explore various planets for resources and items.”
This Steam user believes thatStarfieldcan feel soulless due to some of its empty planets, and yes, you’ve guessed it, Bethesda_FalcoYamaoka was at hand to reply once more. “We are sorry that you do not like landing on different planets and are finding many of them empty. The intention ofStarfield’sexploration is to evoke a feeling of smallness in players and make you feel overwhelmed,” they said.
