This is even more surprising consideringFallout 76has had a rocky road since it was released in 2018. With a series of issues at launch, the most recent addition to the Fallout series has had to receive many patches to make it the game it is today. There are many reasons whyStarfieldcould be receiving negative reviews –infinite loading screens, unnecessary drama over pronounswhich led to a series of review bombing, or even theconstant crashesfor some players at launch. However, with the game still in its early days since launch, players are finding ways to love it, includingnods toThe Elder Scrolls V: Skyrimand even the occasionalNSFW alien. It remains to be seen ifStarfieldhas been harshly judged or if it deserves the rating it has received.

With more plans for the space RPG in the works, including theShattered SpaceDLC arriving sometime in 2024, Bethesda is not done withStarfield. However, it remains to be seen if it will continue being the studio’s lowest-rated game so far.
