However, the majority of critics are satisfied with the new space-faring adventure, fans are a bit harder to please. So far, the game has been showered with criticism complaining about thegame’s space travel, how planets can’t be fully explored without your ship, and even a meltdown about being able tochoose pronouns in the character creator.
While a lot of players arestill having fun with the game, like this one player who’s created aridiculously overpowered starship, many are disappointed, and feel Bethesda promised a lot more than what was delivered.

The comparison video, likely inadvertently, presentsStarfieldas an inferior game toCyberunk 2077, with Mills replying: “How times have changed (Tbc this fake criticism is actively harmful to the way the audience interacts with the medium and I hate it, but it’s very funny to see after how many hundreds of these were made to ridicule [Cyberpunk 2077]).”
Mills isn’t the only one who thinks the hateStarfieldis getting is unnecessary either, as many fans are saying the game gets significantly better if youstick with it long-term, and actually put some time into exploration.
