Starfield fans have ‘no doubt’ game will be buggy at launch

Fans are counting down the days until Bethesda’s next big RPG is upon us withStarfield, despite there being some scepticism about its launch.

It’s no secret thatBethesdagames are buggy at launch for better or worse. In fact, fans will expect nothing less. Though there’s certainly a difference between the somewhat lovable bugs inSkyrim, to the botched launch that wasFallout 76. However, we hear that the latter is in a much better state now.

Check out the Starfield gameplay trailer below!

So it stands to reason that fans will expectStarfieldto be a tad buggy, despite Bethesda trying to ease concerns that it will be the developer’sleast buggy game at launch. To be fair,Starfieldis looking to be a massive game that not only offers thelargest city that Bethesda has ever createdbut also promisesover 1000 planets for players to visit and explore. So it might be unrealistic to expect absolute perfection at launch.

Yet, players have been discussing some of those concerns on Reddit. “Do you thinkStarfieldwill be as buggy/glitchy as other Bethesda titles?”askedRedditor AshNero_1998, opening up the discussion on the thread.

“Not a doubt in my mind,” replied doofer20. “It’s not even that it will be buggy. It’s that we all know it’s going to be the same bugs as theFalloutseries,” added Rosfield-4104. “If a space giant doesn’t send me rag-dolling into orbit, I’ll be disappointed,” said iAmTheRealC2.

“We should expect a certain amount of bugs/glitches. It won’t be perfect, that’s for sure. I would hope they’ve learned alittle bitfrom their past and it will be a bit less buggy than a lot of previous titles,” explained rohobian. “But I won’t get my hopes up.”

We won’t expect miracles at GAMINGbible either, but as long as we have a stable and enjoyable experience at launch, we’ll be happy. That’s as long as any potential issues are ironed out ASAP.
