We’re practically on the one month countdown toStarfield. Bethesda’s highly anticipated space epic is set to launch on 6 September, with early access opening five days earlier.
There is so much to look forward to. Just this week, Bethesda teased an‘astonishing’ number of side quests. That’s to be expected when you take into account that the game hasover 1,000 planetswith at least 10% of these containing signs of life. Devs have also teased thevarious factions and branching pathsthat the game will have - while some players are convinced that you’ll be able toplay as a space samurai. There’s also a convincing theory that you’ll be able todecorate your own apartment, which sounds fun. As we’re on the final countdown toStarfield, the pre-orders are understandably flooding in - and the game has already blasted into Steam’s top 10 best sellers.

In the US,Starfieldoccupies eighth position, withApex Legendsalso peaking ahead. Globally, it sits at 13th. Clearly not everyone is quite as hyped as those of us in the UK are right now.
