Bethesda’s iconicSkyrimhas been out for just over 12 years, so it makes sense that the modding community is going strong there; gamers want to keep on playing, but they need new options to explore. WithStarfield, the number of mods is mostly to make the game playable, which is a markedly different and more depressing reason.

Still, while its modding community is one of the most interesting things about it, there are also official updates and changes coming in as well. It was only this January that a massive free download withhundreds of improvements was announced, hopefully making quality-of-life tweaks fans are desperate for.
Even before the announcements and endless stream of mods,Starfieldwas crowned one ofSteam’s best selling games in 2023consequently proving that the game has merit despite what the majority of disgruntled gamers are saying.
Bethesda is pulling out the stops to makeStarfieldwork, but in the meantime, there are a wealth of mods to help make your call to adventure in space a more enjoyable and entertaining one.
