“The Settled Systems is more likeSkyrimthanFallout4’sCommonwealth in that regard. Ya bancha criminals!” said lead design onStarfield, Emil Pagliarulo. “There’s civilisation, there’s government, and there are laws. And in a couple of cases, we actually explore the themes of crime and punishment in our futuristic universe.”
Obviously, we won’t know exactly how the jail/criminal system will work inStarfielduntil the game is released. That being said, we do know that there will beNPC bounty hunters, so perhaps that could play a big part. Only time will tell.
Starfieldwill be released on 6 September 2023 for PC and Xbox Series X|S, unless you’ve pre-ordered the Premium or Constellation Edition, in which case, your release date is 1 September.Starfieldwill also launch on Xbox Game Pass.
