Announced in 2023, fans itching for a high-octane co-op shooter onPCandPlayStation 5have been waiting patiently for the arrival ofHelldivers 2, but finally, that time is fast approaching. Achieving arespectable scoreof 83 on Metacritic, the originalHelldiverswas released in 2015 for PC, PS3,PS4and PS Vita and the upcoming sequel looks to improve on its predecessor in every way.

“The Galaxy’s Last Line of Offence. Your Super Earth-born rights. The key pillars of our civilization. Of our very existence. But the war rages on. And everything is once again under threat. Join the greatest military force the galaxy has ever seen and make this a safe and free place to live.
To help achieve a successful mission inHelldivers 2you will be able to customise your loadout to your heart’s content to give you the best odds of survival. However, without a coherent team, your attempts at survival will be futile. “Watch each other’s back. Friendly fire is an unfortunate certainty of war, but victory without teamwork is impossible,” states the ominous warning.
Helldivers 2will be released on PC and PlayStation 5 on 8 February 2024.
