“This game is f**king trash” is a bold statement but it’s one that seemingly keeps arising, in this case it comes from the modding team responsible for one of the most popular mods forSkyrim. Skyrim Together gave players the chance to switch the game from single player to co-op and the team was hoping to bring the same ability toStarfield.
The problem is, as the above statement says,Starfieldis struggling. What madeSkyrimsuch a popular game is the hand-crafted attention to detail that Bethesda was famous for. They’d paved the way with the fantasy RPG, but also with their post-apocalyptic RPG,Fallout.
Starfield is not having a great time at the moment, sadly

So, the modding team has decided not to bother with the game. Explaining more on their Discord server the team said “I didn’t realise this until after I actually started playing the damn game a week after launch. The game is boring, bland, and the main draw ofBethesdagames, exploration in a lively and handcrafted world, was completely gone.”
This damning statement comes after weeks of the game being kicked repeatedly. The game has lost so many players that it now has fewer active players thanSkyrim; Fans believe the game is amissed opportunity; and the game wassnubbed at The Game Awards. It’s safe to say that things aren’t going well, and while Bethesda are continually working on the game, it’s hard to know if modders will stick around. A final word from the mod team seems to sum up many feelings, “I won’t be continuing development on Starfield Together. I’m not gonna put my heart and soul into a mod for a game as mediocre as this."
