The issue doesn’t appear to have eased up, either. As early as just a few weeks ago users returned to the thread to reveal they’ve also been struck due to a “system error”.
“I just got an email stating that my pre-order was cancelled due to System Error,” one Reddit users explained. “Called customer service to ask why. Could not get answer on why after a month of preordering the Damn thing that out of the blue cancelled.”
It’s unclear why so many orders have been cancelled, but it’s likely that retailers simply didn’t have enough stock to meet demand. Hopefully, with just a couple weeks left to go beforeStarfieldlaunches, we’re past the worst of these mysterious cancellations.
