After years of waiting, the launch ofStarfieldis nearly upon us and we can wait no longer. Though we have no choice, until its release date arrives of course.
According toBethesda,Starfieldhas been over 20 years in the making, but due to previous technical restrictions, its vision was never able to come to fruition. However, thanks to modern-day gaming, the time is nigh after the gamerecently went gold, meaning that it has concluded its main phase of development.

It’s hard to argue that nothing quite offers the same level of immersion as a video game. Whether it’s being lost in a galaxy far, far away, adventuring in tombs, dropping in a huge combative map or playing for your favourite football team. Video games offer the kind of escapism that most of us can only ever dream of.

No doubt,Starfieldwill offer an incredible level of immersion as we go star trekking across its universe, exploring over1000 planets and 100 star systems. I think it’s fair to say thatStarfieldwill keep us immersed for months to come, if not years, as proven withSkyrim.
This epic piece of equipment features joysticks, an adjustable chair, a wide-screen display and a dashboard that would putSteel Battalionto shame (look it up). Most of all, it perfectly replicates being in a spaceship cockpit without actually being in a spaceship. Unless you’re already an astronaut, of course.
