Before anyone also comes at us for old news; yes, AppledidallowXbox Game Passand various others onto its systems in 2020. However, while it allowed it, it didn’t make for an easy or simple experience. Despite being able to access your account details via those services, you couldn’t stream a game without Apple okaying it, which is hardly a quick process.

Obviously, it’ll take some time to roll out all these changes that Apple has announced. Nevertheless, the foundations for developers to submit an app that includes streaming of all its games is there and ready to be built upon.

Gamers need some good news today, now more than ever, after Microsoft announced its shutting down of its physical video games division. And you know what that means, right, folks?Games are going to cost more.
