Starfield’s first negative review savagely shut down by Bethesda boss

Review copies for the game were released last week, much to thesatisfaction of fans, who believe it’s a signBethesdaare confident the game is in a completed state and ready for release in September.

While theembargostates outlets cannot share reviews or any details about the game itself, it hasn’t stopped some from sharing their first impressions, like former Blizzard developer Mark Kern.

Kern shared a tweet talking about Starfield’s main menu, which has become quite a talking pointamongst fans,saying: “The start screen of a game can reveal a lot about how rushed the team was and how much pride they took in their work.

The tweet amassed thousands of likes and shares, prompting a response from Bethesda vice-president Peter Hines, who slammed Kern in a replysaying: “Or they designed what they wanted and that’s been our menu for years and was one of the first things we settled on.

“Having an opinion is one thing. Questioning out a developer’s ‘care’ because you would have done it differently is highly unprofessional coming from another ‘dev’”

Nevertheless, fans are still excited to finally explore the game’svast galaxy, and are counting down the days till its release, especially fans who purchased theConstellation Edition, who’ll be getting early access.

Starfieldofficially launches on the 6th of September for Xbox and PC platforms.
