Starfield’s Metacritic score continues to drop as it nearly slides out of 2023’s top 50 games

Starfieldis undeniably a colossal success and yet, it’s almost dropped out of 2023’s top 50 games on Metacritic.

Already, many are saying that 2023 has been a historic year for gaming.Starfield, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2,Assassin’s CreedMirage, Alan Wake 2,Star WarsJedi: Survivor, Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores, Baldur’s Gate 3, Resident Evil 4, andSea of Starsall in the same year? Phwoar. And there are plenty of exciting titles I haven’t even mentioned. In our10 out of 10 reviewforStarfield, we deemed the game’s scale to be “revolutionary” but its impressive scope and storyline hasn’t stopped it from slipping down the charts.
