Starfieldis one of the biggest games to be released this year after being in development for a number of years.
Bethesda claims thatStarfieldis decades in the making, but now thanks to technical enhancements, the developer’s vision of the intergalactic sci-fi RPG has now come to fruition. Granted, with just about any video game launch, it’s usually never totally perfect and post-launch updates are often required to iron out some kinks, andStarfieldis no exception.

Prior toStarfield’slaunch,Bethesda already issued a number of updatesto ensure that its release date went as smoothly as possible and there have been other updates since. The latest has arrived this week and despite including afeature that fans have been calling for, not everyone is happy.
So what’s the issue with the latest update, I hear you ask? Well, it seems that the issue is that it only includes four improvements.Update 1.7.36adds Field of View sliders compatible with both first-person and third-person perspectives. It also improves stability for Intel Arc GPUs on PC, fixes an issue related to the quest ‘Echoes of the Past’ as well as adds various stability and performance improvements.
At the end of the day, gamers spend their hard-earned money on major titles such asStarfieldor regularly pump money into the Xbox Game Pass subscription service. So it’s fair enough that some expect a certain standard. Hopefully, all of the fan’s issues can be addressed in future updates.
