Steam drops 3 free games you’ve 48 hours to grab

Three games are currently available to play onSteamfor free, and at least two of them are actually pretty good (based on the Steam reviews at least).

The first of these games is calledICARUS, an open-world survival game from developers RocketWerkz.

ICARUSis a self described “PvE survival game for up to eight players” that sees you surviving on its self-titled planet of Icarus, which is “an Earth-like terraformed planet now considered humanity’s greatest mistake”.

“humanity’s greatest mistake”?

Next up isAge of Wonders 4, a turn-based strategy RPG from publishers Paradox Interactive (the minds behindCrusdader Kings III,Prison Architect 2andCities: Skylines).

Age of Wonders 4actually recieved a whole slew of praise from the gaming press when it dropped back in May last year.

It seems like the player base on Steam generally agrees too, as the game is currently sitting at a “Very Positive” score with over 11,000 reviews.

Age of Watertouts itself as “an online adventure game set on a post-apocalyptic Earth”, which I know sounds a lot like the other game I mentioned,ICARUS, but the difference is you’re on a boat in this one.

This one actually doesn’t have the best reviews, and is currently sitting at a “Mixed” score with over 1,000 user reviews. Almost all of the recent reviews are extremely positive though, with 92% of the users who have reviewed it in its currently trial period giving it positive scores.

These three games will only be free to play until the 10th of November, so make sure dedicate your time to whichever ones you like the look of the most. Personally, I’ll be givingAge of Wonder 4a go just to see if lives up to the hype.
