Steam drops multiple free downloads you can grab now for a limited time

They do say you should never look a gift horse in the mouth. That being said, I can’t imagine Steam’s latest freebie is going to drum up too much hype.

To celebrate the site’s Steam Remote Play Together 2024 event, you can now nab yourself a free animated avatar, frame, and stickerthemed to the occasion. It’s better than nothing, right? Right!? I’m trying to be positive about this. The animated avatar is called ‘Planet Pals’ and admittedly, is pretty nice featuring two lil’ swirling planets zooming across the galaxy. The free frame is called ‘Co-Op Circles’. It’s not the best frame I’ve ever seen onSteambut it’s not bad either. The animated sticker is called ‘Gaming Guys’ and, you guessed it, shows two friends gaming.

Steam’s Remote Play Together event only runs until 19 February, 10am PST. It’s not yet been confirmed whether these freebies will remain available beyond that date but it’s best to air on the side of caution. With that in mind, you have just under one week to secure your free downloads before it’s potentially too late.
