It’s the first new mainline entry in the long-running RPG franchise since 2006 so to use the words Taylor Swift greeted me with at The Eras Tour, it’s been a long time coming.
Launching on 29 August,Visions of Manawill see players assume the role of Val, a Soul Guard who’s tasked with escorting a group to the Mana Tree.
This is, of course, a video game so the task isn’t quite that straight forward, and a number of foes will stand in Val’s path.
As we nearVisions of Mana’s launch, a new demo has been released onXbox,PlayStation, and PC viaSteam.

Enough to give you an idea of what’s in store, but not too much that it spoilsVisions of Mana’s wider tale.
There’s even a bonus reward up for grabs if you do play the demo.
Download it and you’ll acquire three weapons you can use in the full-game: a Gladius, Falx, and Horn Lance.
Essentially, this means a small sword, great sword, and lance for Val.

“The protagonist Val and his childhood friend Hinna, the newly appointed Alm of Fire, set off on a journey to the Mana Tree. This game’s iconic vibrant and vast semi-open field contains adorable yet ferocious monsters, allowing you to enjoy swift three-dimensional battles using the power of the Elementals,” the synopsis teases.
“Through adventures with friends met along the way, they start to see the truth about the world. Must we accept our fates?”
