Announced during the Xbox Games Showcase in July 2020,Obsidian Entertainmentwill be hoping thatAvowedwill join the ranks of its other beloved RPGs. Whether that goal is achieved, only time will tell.

Avowedwill be available at no extra cost with a subscription to PC Game Pass andXbox Game PassUltimate on day one. You can also buy the physical game, so you don’t have to rely on a subscription to play it.

Digitally,Avowedwill also be available to purchase on platforms such as the Xbox Games Store, Battle.net andSteam, the latter of which has sent some gamers into a frenzy.

“Avowedout-of-mind regional pricing,” exclaimed Reddit user thekinkbrit. “No way I’m going to get this at this price.”

Yet the cheapest place to buy the game on Steam is in South Asia for a mere $22.99, according to current estimated conversion rates. As for the UK, it’s $75 but in our currency, it’s a flat £59.99, which is roughly £5 more expensive than the US.

“The US is likely without tax, but still, wow. I ain’t spending even €60 on a game, let alone €80. Get sailing, my friend Efrayl said.

“That’s another game afterStarfield, that people won’t buy simply because of the price. This price is like 10% of the minimal wage in Poland,” replied SenmiMsS.

As much as we love to own our games, perhaps Game Pass might be the best course of action to save our money, especially ifAvowedreleases below expectations.
