
Steam users are in for a treat, especially those that own a Steam Deck, as there are over 40 games you can download and play for free right now.
Now I’ll be honest and say I haven’t touched mySteamDeck as much as I would have liked to, as there have been some banging AAA games this year that clearly work best on a console with a TV.
Personally I’ve been heavily invested inWarhammer 40k: Space Marine 2
That said, the Steam Deck is a great choice for gamers who want to sample a fewPCgames they’ve had their eye on for a white, but don’t want to drop a ludicrous amount for a high-end PC and monitor set-up.

Keep in mind most games will work on Steam Deck, but you should always try to play ones labelled as “Playable” or “Verified” for the best results.
Now then, you can currently download over 40 games to play on your Steam Deck, and almost all of them are free depending on a few things.
Even Amazon has a few games available if you’re subscribed to Amazon Gaming, with some great titles likeGargoyles RemasteredandZombies Ate My Neighbourfor the retro fans.

If you’d rather keep things simple though there are still loads of games on the Steam Store itself you can play for free, but again check they’re at least “Playable” on the Steam Deck for the best results.
