One of the prettiest RPGs of 2015 is currently 100% free, zero strings attached, over onSteam– but you better get your butt in gear and snag it ASAP if you want to claim it.
Fair warning however, if you’re outside the EU or North America this game was probably already free for you anyway. From what I can tell,Black Desertseems to be permanently free to play in several regions outside of Europe and America.

Also, another warning, this is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game. So you’ll need to play online to get anything out ofBlack Desert, and you’ll probably need to actually spend some money on it eventually (if you want to get the most out of the experience).
However, there’s no subscription model or anything like that, and players online say that all of the quests and end-game context isn’t locked behind any kind of payment. So, in theory, you can just play everything the game has to offer without spending a dime.
Now I’ve not played too much ofBlack Desert, although I did give it a good shot a year or so ago. What I can tell you about my experience is that this game looks amazing.
It looked incredible when it first dropped, and it still looks pretty damn good today.

Honestly, even if you don’t really care about MMORPGs, I highly suggest just hopping into the character creator for fun and seeing what kind of high-definition monstrosity you can cook up.
Just don’t blame me if you end up falling into the free-to-play trap and spend half your life savings on all ofBlack Desert’sDLC.
