PC gamers everywhere can currently download and check out 12 brand-new games for free via Steam, and there are some pretty interesting titles in the mix.
If you’re anything like me you’re probably using all your free time attempting to juggleBaldur’s Gate 3onPlayStation 5andStarfieldonXbox- a move my wife, friends, and therapist have branded as “dangerously irresponsible”. But if you’re looking to try somefree gamesand get a taste of something different, Steam is usually the right place to go.

At the time of writing there are 12 (that’s a baker’s dozen minus one) new games available to try for free via Steam’s demo page. These are, of course, timed teasers and not the final product, but one of the best things about Steam is diving in and trying games you wouldn’t normally play. Yes, there’s a lot of shit onSteamtoo, but I choose to focus on the positives.
