In my humble opinion, nothing beats a good horror movie or video game. Being scared and unnerved are emotions that very few genres can offer and if that sounds like your jam then you might want to check out this upcoming Steam game for free.
That being said, as much as I love the horror genre, not every movie or video game can get it right nor be an instant classic likeResident Evil 2orSilent Hill2. Two examples that come to mind of a job not well done areBlair Witchfrom Bloober Team and theAlone in the Darkmovie starring Christian Slater (the latter doesn’t even fall into the so bad it’s good category).

No release date has been announced forNecrophosisat the time of writing but it is expected to launch on PC at some point this year. A console release is also planned.
Necrophosisdoes give meScornvibes but hopefully,Necrophosisproves to be a better game and looks as good as it does in its gameplay trailer. We’ll keep you posted when we hear of a confirmed release date on PC as well as consoles.
