“Scornis an atmospheric first-person horror adventure game set in a nightmarish universe of odd forms and sombre tapestry,” reads the synopsis of the game. “It is designed around the idea of “being thrown into the world”. Isolated and lost inside this dream-like world, you will explore different interconnected regions in a non-linear fashion.”
On Metacritic,Scornearned rather balanced scores of70 from critics and 6.7 from users. From my own experience, it’s likely to be a game that you’ll love or hate, which is probably why it was an ideal inclusion onXbox Game Pass. At the time of writing, there are no current plans forScornto arrive onPlayStation Plus, but that might one day change.
Inour reviewofScorn, we said: “Fans of dread-filled atmospheres and H. R. Giger-inspired aesthetics will not want to miss this one, so long as you have the emotional resolve required.”
