Now the fandom is divided once more, but it’s not over gameplay issues but over the deaths of some pretty major characters. As much as we don’t want to spoil anything for you, it’s hard to talk about these deaths, so leave now if you don’t want to know.
There’s quite a few deaths in this game, which is unsurprising given its title is all about killing the Justice League. Still, seeingBatmanshot in the head, as well as the Flash being killed and then urinated on has proven a bit much for some players.

A lot of gamers are comparing the deaths to other tragic and shocking ones, like Joel’s death inThe Last of Us Part II; not that fans believeSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguehas executed (forgive me) the right tone to warrant such comparisons.
Some fans believe the shock factor is necessary given the narrative of the game, while others feel overkill has been used to hammer home the point of the Suicide Squad’s mission. But what is a fandom without some discourse, discourse we feel will grow the longer this game is out in the wild.
