Superhero games are at a peak right now. Last year saw the release ofMarvel’s Spider-Man 2, a worthy game of the year contender.
I think we’re all itching to see whatInsomniac Gamesis cooking up next withMarvel’s Wolverine. At last month’s The Game Awards, it was also revealed thatArkane Lyon is working onMarvel’s Bladeand while we may only have a cinematic teaser trailer, it certainly sets an epic tone. I hear you.Marvelthis, Marvel that.DC’sSuicide Squad: Kill The Justice Leagueis also on the way and it may be a tonal shock to the system after the Arkham trilogy, but the traversal is shaping up nicely based on the trailers we’ve seen. I think we’d all love to see more DC superheroes explored, including Superman.
Well, while we may not have a bonafide Superman game to feast our eyes upon, upcoming indie action-adventure releaseUndefeated: Genesisshould scratch the itch for all those of you who want to fly around and channel your inner Clark Kent.
