The Boys officially coming to an end with its fifth season

Tomorrow the fourth season ofThe Boyspremieres onAmazon’sPrime Video streaming service on Thursday, 13 June with its first three episodes. Each episode will then be available weekly, with the final and eighth episode arriving on 18 July and fans cannot wait to be immersed in levels of wrongness that onlyThe Boyscan deliver.

Naturally, it’s always going to be a sad time when good things come to an end but in my opinion, a show that knows when to end can be a good thing. Arguably, shows likePrison Break,Lost,Heroesand evenGame of Throneswere all great but perhaps went on for a season or two longer than they should have.

No release date has been announced for season five ofThe Boysat the time of writing but it might be safe to assume that it’s a couple of years away.
