
The Boysis one of Amazon Prime Video’s most popular series and it’s still going strong four years after it initially launched.
The first episode ofThe Boyspremiered on 26 July 2019 and within its first few opening minutes, it perfectly set the tone of the series with its brutal, gruesome and shocking beginning. When Hughie Campbell (Jack Quad) stood on the side of the road with his girlfriend, his encounter with A-Train (Jessie T. Usher) is one to remember for the ages.

Four years after its debut on Prime Video, the series remains as popular as ever, as we lead into its fourth season. What’s more, it’s quite baffling to think thatThe Boysalmost never was when it began production in 2008 as amoviebut was cancelled soon after, before the project was revived as a series in 2016.
In celebration of its fourth birthday, fans ofThe Boyshave been reliving its ‘game-changing’ opening scene. “It only took them three minutes of runtime to show the world they were ready to change the game,” tweeted @NicholasPas5.
