Season four ofThe Boyshas only recently concluded but it seems that the release window for season five may have already been revealed in a new teaser.
It’s been confirmed thatseason five ofThe Boyswill be its finale and I’m ok with that because all good things must come to an end and at least the producers of theAmazonPrime Video show have an end in sight to wrap up its story.

I won’t give any spoilers away here but it’s fair to say that in the final episode of season four, the proverbial poop hit the fan in a big way and now we eagerly await season five but it seems that we could be in for a very long wait.
In an Instagram post on the officialKarl Urbanaccount, who plays the endlessly charming Billy Butcher, featured a bloody image on set with the confirmation of when we can expect to watch season five ofThe Boysto arrive.

“Jeffrey Dean Morgan was the best part of my day, every day. That’s allThe Boysfor now folks. See you in… two years (wish it was sooner) for the final season on Prime Video,” Karl Urban said in the post.
It will be a painful wait for fans, especially after that season four cliffhanger but with this being the final season ofThe Boys, it’s of the utmost importance that the series goes out on a high, as it richly deserves when it apparently concludes in 2026.
